Responsibilities
- Install, program, and maintain security systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and company policies.
- Document service activities, including installation details, maintenance logs, and client communications.
- Work independently or as part of a team on projects of varying complexity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic security and fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and brands (e.g., Honeywell, DMP, Hirsch, GE, DSC).
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes, NEC standards, and local fire and building regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work on-call or overtime as needed.
- DCJS certification or ability to obtain one is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or relevant certifications preferred.
